Sometimes he would end up back where he started, at the root cellar. Sometimes he would end up at another farm building. Time meant nothing to him anymore as he skulked around the ruined farm, trying to find a way out. While he had appropriated some of the food in the cellar for himself, Joshua never felt hunger. The ruins of the farmhouse were bathed in eerie blue light, with no soul in sight.
